K.A. Magrowski

K.A. Magrowski joined the SJWG in 2009 after moving into the area. As vice-president, she has assisted in growing the group as well as booking guest speakers for several years. Effective January 1, 2016 she moves into the role of President and hopes to continue the success under former Amy Hollinger, as well as implement new and exciting programs.

Krista writes speculative fiction for adults and children. Her work has appeared in Dreams of Decadence magazine, the Tall Tales and Short Stories from South Jersey anthology, the Reading Glasses anthology, and We Walk Invisible anthology published by Chupa Cabra House. She can be found on social media and World of Warcraft.

Jessica Walsh

Jessica A. Walsh is a writer, editor and blogger living in S. Jersey with her husband and mustachioed four-legged son. She blogs about her journey of self-discovery and becoming a happier, more compassionate person at

She co-edited Reading Glasses: Stories Through an Unpredictable Lens, a collection of thirteen speculative fiction stories, including “Unquiet Mind”, her own short fiction story. Her short story, “One for the Road” will be published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Dog in February, 2016. Jessica has been a member of the South Jersey Writers’ Group since 2011.

Gregg Feistman

Gregg Feistman, M.A. is an Associate Professor of Public Relations at Temple University, where he teaches on the undergraduate and graduate level. His writing credits include stints as a freelance business journalist and NY City-produced playwright. His first novel, a political thriller The War Merchants was published in 2009 by Strategic Book Publishing. His second novel, Unholy Alliance is currently under consideration.

Bill Harden - outgoing

Bill Harden is a long-time member of SJWG and took over the Treasurer role in 2014. He writes fiction primarily and was a contributor to the inaugural Tall Tales and Short Stories from South Jersey anthology. Bill writes from Westmont, NJ, where he lives with his wife Jean and four cats.

Mieke Mackay-Zamora - incoming

Mieke (pronounced as “Mikey”) is a wife and mother of two kids that are growing up faster than she can imagine. She writes fiction for young adults and children in the middle grades. Her short story, “The Walk” appears in the local anthology, Tall Tales and Short Stories from South Jersey.

Mieke is also a certified knitting instructor by the Craft Yarn Council, currently accepting private lessons. She also cooks special Sunday dinners for family and friends.
