As usual, we will have 2 speakers on the roster. First up is Greg Gigon, Head of Software Development and Engineering @ RBS.
Title: Introducing new JVM language in big organisation.
Subtitle: NatWest Digital Studio journey from Java to Kotlin.
Description: Big organisations are facing different challenges to small organisations while adopting new technologies and programming languages. Long-time support, availability of tools and talented developers are just some of them. In the presentation, we would like to focus on the challenges and approaches taken by the NatWest Digital Studio team on the journey to a new programming language being fully introduced and utilised in production.
Up next is Emma Hopkinson-Spark, Delivery Director @ 101 Ways.
Talk Title: Agility is Not Binary
"We talk a lot about 'doing Agile or not', 'being Agile or not'. But life is rarely that simple and neither is Agile."
By all accounts, this one is not to be missed! RSVP to secure a place as we have limited capacity for this one. Pizzas/drinks will be on offer I'm sure!
As always, look forward to seeing you there!
