What we're about

This group is for anyone and everyone who has a connection with psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis. Either you have it yourself, know someone who is diagnosed or you simply want to be a part of an awesome community. This group will not only be a space to meet new people, but also a space to share our own journey and experiences to help each other and learn together. This will be a support group that will also include workshops, discussions, speakers and fun activities for all of us to enjoy on this psoriasis roller coaster together!
If this group is for you, you are willing to step out of your comfort zone and share your experiences with psoriatic disease, you’re looking for resources to overcome psoriasis, you want to meet people who know where you’re coming from, you want to build self-confidence, and you want to have fun! Come join to get support and show support, to teach and to learn, and to inspire and be empowered. I am a psoriasis fighter myself and I am looking forward to meeting you! This is just the beginning of something greater, so it may take some time to organize while getting members. If you have any ideas or want to include anything else to this group please share! We are building this community together. We are not alone 

ONLINE Monthly Afternoon Gathering

Online event

UPDATE: Due to the ongoing shelter-in-place measures, we will not be able to meet at our usual location! If you're interested in meeting virtually, please RSVP and message me with questions, requests, or concerns. I'll do my best to respond quickly. I'll send out the link to participants shortly before the event via Meetup. ---------------- Join us for a low-key, casual get together on a Sunday afternoon. Let's share our experiences, explore all things psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, and most of all, have fun! This monthly event is defaulted to a casual gathering and will be updated to reflect any specific plans we make. HOUSEKEEPING: *Be assured that nothing you say here will be repeated and no one will photograph you without your permission. *If you would like to share knowledge or research on psoriasis, please do your best to share if it is anecdotal, or where it is from and reveal any conflicts of interest. As a community, we strive to welcome and respect all perspectives and opinions, and this can help us understand the nature of the information shared. *This event and meetup is intended for people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Costs of running it are generously covered by the National Psoriasis Foundation or NPF. If you would like to hear more about them and how you can join forces, please explore the resources at psoriasis.org or reach out to the meetup owner, Daniel. They are always looking for people to put their stories out there and it would go a long way to ensuring the life of this group. *Last but not least, we are not a clinical authority and cannot diagnose anyone or provide medical advice.
