Does learning 3D sound hard? Come and get a personalized crash course in only 2 weeks!
If you want to learn 3D, I will be happy to give you a free personalized crash course. In only 2 weeks you will learn all the basics of 3D modeling. Don't just think it - do it!
Every 2nd Saturday afternoon we meet informally in Norwalk for a hands-on workshop using Blender and other 3D and 2D tools. Bring your laptop!
Come and join us to discuss 3D modeling, animation, visual movie special effects, 3D printing, VR, and any other CG topic that interests you. Doesn't matter your level of experience, what tools you use, or what your interests are, come and meet others with a passion for 3D, learn something new, and share something you know. Ask questions, discuss ideas, get help from each other. Stay as little or as long as you like.
This is a group that creates 3D graphics, animations, and films using mostly open source tools like Blender!
This group is centered around the 3D graphics application Blender [blender.org (http://www.blender.org)], although we also have members using other 3D and 2D tools such as Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Natron, GIMP, Inkscape, and Krita.
We are a group of mostly amateur 3D animation and special visual effects film makers who are Blender user's (Blenderheads) and enthusiasts located in Fairfield County, CT. We meet about once every two weeks on Sundays. We do hands-on sessions with Blender (so download the software and install the software and bring your laptop), where you can show off your latest creations, ask questions on how to do something, or discuss tips and techniques. Whether you are into modeling, animation, 3D printing, or anything else Blender or 3D related, and whatever your level of expertise, even if you have just started using 3D tools, you will have a blast, and will get to meet with other people that share your passion. Bring your laptop (we have multiple OSs including Mac, Windows and Linux), bring your suggested topics of discussion, bring your significant others if you can drag them along. Most of all, bring your sense of humor and let's have some fun!
And feel free to add any renders that you want to show the group to an album in Photos on this site!
