Kiran Pamnany: Julia multithreaded parallelism

Dr Kiran Pamnany has worked on scaling Julia to large scale parallelism, including the Celeste project, the new Julia threading model, and now is a software engineer on the CliMA project at Caltech.

The main talk will be followed by 5 minute lightning talks, so please bring something to share.

We will attempt to set up a remote video conference via a Zoom meeting for those who don't want to brave the traffic. I will post the link closer to the date, but please only RSVP if you will attend in person.
