QC Meetup with Dr. Barbara Jones from IBM and Dr. Mark Jackson from CQC

The next Southern California Quantum Computing Meetup Event will be on October 15, 2019. Our speaker will be Dr. Barbara Jones who is the Group Leader of the Theoretical and Computational Physics team at the IBM Almaden Research Center in San Jose who will speak about IBM's quantum activities. She will be followed by Dr. Mark Jackson from Cambridge Quantum Computing, a leading quantum computing software company.

The location will be the Cross Campus building at 87 N. Raymond Ave., in Pasadena. The building is across the street from the Gold Line - Memorial Park station for those who want to take the Metro.

Given the vibrant topic, it is likely the venue will fill up. So if you are planning on attending, please RSVP as soon as possible. Refreshments will also be provided.
