What we're about

Let's explore the music, food, film and culture from Latin America in London! New restaurants, thought provoking film and intoxicating rhythms: Latin America has finally arrived to London. Let's spread the word! We organise our own events (live music, dj nights, film screenings) and promote similar activities created by like-minded organisations: lectures, NGO&charity presentations, art exhibitions and live music. We will keep you posted about all of this, and set up deals (e.g. guest list) and meetups to attend special events.

Let's meet up and watch Latin American theatre and then dance the night away!

Hello, I work for a wonderful arts festival called CASA Festival - Discover exciting new work from UK-based Latin American theatre-makers, artists and musicians. Join us for seven outstanding plays from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile and Ecuador. These plays have English surtitles during the performance too, so are suitable for everyone! We also have a stunning range of talks, workshops and community events, most of which are free, that you can join in with. Looking at your group, I would like to specifically suggest a couple of shows that we have on. The first being, "NOCHE DE VERANO LEJOS DE LOS ANDES O DIALOGOS CON MI DENTISTA" which contains cracking jokes as she waits for her dentist to operate, accompanied by an accordionist who would be a cat, Susana tells her moving story full of music, warmth and laughs. A must see for anyone who’s searching for home away from home. The second is, "INSTRUCCIONES PARA ABRAZAR EL AIRE". Every day, two grandparents remind each other of the absence of the granddaughter they never met. Based on true events that occurred in a house located in the city of La Plata in 1976, the play ingeniously threads together the stories of two murdered cooks, a young kidnapped girl and the neighbours who see and hear everything. I would also like to point out that if you purchase a theatre ticket to any show, there are free music events after each performance where you can socialise and dance the night away to wonderful live music. Please check out the CASA website for the full programme and to book tickets at http://www.casafestival.org.uk/ and please feel free to ask any questions... email us at: [masked] call us on: [masked] Please circulate this information to your meet up group :) We really hope that you can join us! Have a wonderful day. Brittany and the CASA team x
