CALLING ALL TABLETOP GAMERS!!!
SWOTT is a weekly board game group for adults and teens that meets up on alternating Fridays and Saturdays at Dragons Guildhall (DGH) on Indian Ripple. We play European-style (Euro) games which are a departure from your classic American board games such as Monopoly or Sorry which means less "take that!", randomness, and player elimination.

The games we play depend on what people bring and what everyone decides they want to play and we're happy to teach a game if someone hasn't played it before or even if they need a refresher. If you have a game you'd like to try out, you're more than welcome to but we'll play whatever is the group's consensus is.

If you or someone you're close to tests positive for COVID, we ask that you not attend until you're better.

SWOTT is all about the games. It's a divisive time right now and likewise, a very stressful one. Table-topping, for me, is an escape from all that. My goal is to create an environment where everyone can come together, play games, and have fun - even if they do disagree on everything else.

SWOTT has no membership fees. The only cost to you will be any refreshments you wish to purchase. DGH sells a small assortment of drinks and snacks, and there's a Speedway right up the road as well. If you do bring snacks or drinks, please be sure that your drink has a lid and that you wash your hands before handling game components after you've eaten.

I've always loved the immersion and escapism I get when I play tabletop games and I very much enjoy sharing that experience with others. We've got some great people who love to play games and we look forward to gaming with you too!

UPDATE: Please RSVP the group if you're coming after the scheduled start time. If we don't know when you're coming, then you may not have an opening to play a game for some time. We do our best to coordinate with all attendees so everyone's in a game, but if you don't tell us, you risk being left out.
