    Meditation Basics: Let Go of stress & increase well-being. Learn and practice the basics of meditation. Learn basic breathing techniques, visualization, mindfulness, and meditation exercises that you can use in daily life. Meditation can ease anxiety, increase focus, improve general health, and leave you feeling happier in your life. Developing a regular habit of meditation enhances these benefits. Meditating with a group can be more effective than meditating alone. This is a new class, starting 4/10, meeting Wednesdays from 7:30 - 8pm (except for the first Wed. of the month, which lasts a full hour). We hope to keep this class going on a regular basis, so if you are interested, let us know and/or simply arrive 5 to 10 minutes before 7:30pm. Instructor Kathryn is a Certified Yoga Teacher, with many years of meditation experience. Bring a small cushion or blanket if you'd like. We also have some cushions, blankets and chairs at the studio. By donation. (Suggested: $5 to $7 for our donation box).

Our group is made up of some newbies, and some folks who've been coming for years & enjoy a relaxing class with some challenge. Beginners are warmly welcomed. Classes are geared toward the level of the individual students. Clear your head, strengthen & stretch the body, and deepen your yoga experience. We'll learn & practice a variety of hatha yoga poses, energizing flows, breath and relaxation techniques, and a taste of meditation. Increase balance & flexibility, feel grounded, focused, centered & calm. Holistic and enriching classes lasting 1hr and 15min. Sri Yantra Yoga Studio is a local, family owned studio with a peaceful, inspiring atmosphere. We have deep & authentic yogic roots. Instructor Patti is a Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, who also teaches Yoga and Meditation courses and develops wellness curriculum at Washington & Jefferson College. Join us for a single class, or purchase a class package. One class is $14 ($12 senior 65+), 6 classes over 3 months is $70, and 10 classes over 3 months is $100.     Love Gentle Yoga, or want to give yoga a try? Join us for this brand new class. This is a great place to start if you're new to yoga, and it's also enjoyable for anyone looking for a slower paced, instructive, nourishing, and relaxing class. Enjoy stress-relieving breathing techniques and gentle warm-ups. We'll practice basic Hatha yoga poses - building strength, flexibility and balance. We'll add some slow flowing sequences, introduce a touch of meditation, and finish up with deep relaxation. Each class is tailored around who shows up. Recharge, relax, and restore. Learn the basics of yoga in a peaceful environment with an experienced, certified yoga instructor. Enriching classes lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes.
