This is a free, collaborative event. Be sure to sign up on Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/design-for-social-justice-workshop-tickets-30969752363) after you've RSVP'd with the group.

On Saturday, January 21st from 1pm - 5:30pm Detroit designers, community members, artists, and activists will gather in pursuit of a design intervention with the intention of addressing issues of injustice throughout the built environment, using the language of design.

The Design for Social Justice: Workshop will collect concerns and hopes for the future of Detroit's design profession. There are many designers who have expressed a will to mobilize. This workshop and the Design Justice Platform (DJP) + Design as Protest (DAP) (https://designjusticeplatform.com/)was created to catalyze those calls and organize through a series of design cyphers/workshops. Please join us!
