    What we're about

    This will be the hub for those who are curious or passionate about EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil). We will learn more about this fascinating and ancient oil, through practical tasting sessions and yummy Spanish food. During the session you will discover how it is made, how to assess the quality, its uses in the kitchen and its health benefits. We will taste some of the finest oils that have recently won awards globally.

    After doing different courses in Spain and England with some of the top experts in this industry and in some of the most well known centres for studies of Olive Oil such as the University of Jaen, I am able to hold tasting sessions for different levels of expertise: from introductory level to more advanced.

    The sessions will be either in Spanish or English, but always using Spanish EVOO, as Spain is the main producer in the world with its 260 olive varieties. We will always advertise the level and language of the tasting workshop. Cultural and social events: As EVOO is one of the most common ingredients in Spanish gastronomy, we will finish the event sharing some Spanish tapas, and learning or exchanging some recipes. Why not even organise a trip to a Spanish mill where we can see firsthand the harvesting and production of a fine olive oil? We could share a traditional mill breakfast of rustic bread with tomato and newly pressed olive oil, with perhaps some tapas and flamenco later. I hope you join us! It will be fun!
