Spring is in the air! Time to come out from our dark offices and go out! Well, out.. to the Barcelona Spark Meetup! Too much sun can be dangerous, after all :)

This time, we're delighted to have Iker Martinez de Apellaniz, who will give a talk named "Schibsted Data Journey" about his journey from Bad to Good Data!

The Meetup will be host into the InfoJobs offices (thank you!!!).
Infojobs is part of the media giant Schibsted, which owns newspapers and marketplaces like Fotocasa.es, Habitaclia.es, Milanuncios.com, Vibbo.com... And those are only few ones in Spain!

Abstract:
Any data solution is based on a simple fuel: Data.
If you want to make data products or take Data-Informed Decisions you must ensure that they are based on the correct data. But how do you ensure data is "good", or even what is good data, when you are dealing with more than 50 small sites, newspapers or marketplaces sending you data. And even worse, each of these has different tools sending data from different sources and of different kinds.
I'll tell you a Story about how we solved some of this problems, and we created others. I'll try to get you an overview of what you need to have in place, so you can really use Spark to bring value to your users, and to your company.
