This is a rare opportunity to engage your startup with a UX expert who will be able to help boost your company through understanding Contextual Research.

Good user experience has customers at it’s core, but understanding who your customers are and what they need is sometimes very difficult. If you simply ask your customers what they want, they will not be able to tell you. Like Henry Ford supposedly once said, “If I asked them what they want, they would have said a faster horse”. Contextual research has a range of tools that you can use to help you to understand your customers and help you deuce what they need.

Chris Metcalfe has been working in UX for five years and finds inspiration from wanting to understand the ways in which people communicate through the things we create and the services we offer.

We implore that RSVPs are up-to-date so that we have a true reflection for catering and structure!

This hands-on workshop will give a crash course in Contextual Research as it pertains to UX. Attendees will be notified beforehand if they're to prepare anything.

A note on the pricing:

Historically, Sparkup! events have been free of charge as we believe that spreading valuable information is a community right. However, we have changed the style of the meetups and we are now introducing a new "workshop" format.

These are an extension of the annual Weekend Programme (http://sparkup.co.za/weekend-programme/) and will be a lot more hands-on and integrated with attendees. Funds will go towards catering & drinks, we do not profit from the meetups in anyway.

Some people have struggled with PayPal, in which case we ask that you RSVP in the mean time and bring R70 to add to the cookie jar on the night.

Thanks for all of the support, we are very excited for our new format!
