Writing Sprints with the SLF-SFBA Co-Chairs

Details

Come write with your SLF-SF Bay Area co-chairs! Co-working for a couple of hours can be a great way to make positive progress on your manuscripts. Or work on any project you'd like! We want to generate some creativity together in the same Zoom space.

Audrey, Becca, and Jasmine will take turns leading the group through focused writing sprints. Prompts will be provided if new inspiration is needed, but forward progress on that manuscript is a great goal as well. Let's make some magic together!

The Zoom link will be shared with members who've RSVPed in the day before the session.

Jasmine H. Wade is a speculative fiction writer in Northern California. She is the Head Curator for Archive of Futures, a community archive documenting future centuries. She is also Co-Creative Director of Ancestral Futures, a non-profit organization that uplifts the voices of BIPOC speculative fiction writers.

Rebecca Gomez Farrell is a speculative fiction writer based in Oakland. She co-organizes the East Bay Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Meetup group and a Bay Area chapter of the national Women Who Submit Lit organization. Becca is also the communications manager for the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA).

Audrey T. Williams moved from North Carolina to Oakland in 2010. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from CCA. Audrey works full-time as a healthcare copywriter in San Francisco. She is an Affiliate Member of SFWA and Co-Founder of AncestralFutures.org, a BIPOC+ speculative literary arts and education nonprofit.
