About us
This is a a group for people who live and work In NY and the surrounding area, but who recognize we are in one of the greatest metropolitan areas in the world. It's for people who are creatures of the city, with all its diversity, possibilities, opportunities, and excitement. To be sure, we will make excursions into the city--and that includes Queens and Brooklyn as well as Manhattan...and let's not forget the Bronx and Staten Island as well. However, we will get together here on Long Island too, in the interest of promoting convenience and encouraging inclusion by people whose budgets may not allow them to take trips to the city as frequently as they'd like. The point of this group is as much to allow meeting, forming friendships, and having fellowship with others whose hearts belong in the city, as it is to take trips into the city for all that it offers.
Some of the event types we offer are :Museums, speed dating, bowling, pool, golf, bingo, shows, rock climbing, mingles and more.
This group is not for pick-up or seduction techniques, or wingman tactics.

Prepay Only Event.)Kick off Spring with a Sunset Singles Stroll! Our Central Park Date Walks have become an extremely popular way to meet singles in a scenic setting.
This event very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions. Every 10 minutes or so our host will also ask the men to switch with a woman they have not spoken to yet so everyone gets a chance to talk with everyone.
We'll walk a 1.5-2 mile stretch through Central Park. We'll then end the walk watching the sunset together. Feel free to exchange contact info with others after walk.

How else is it similar/different from Traditional Speed Dating
One on One dates:We will break participants into pairs of two, just like we do with traditional speed dating. You will get to speak to each dates for a specified amount of time (typically 4-6 minutes). After the specified number of minutes, the guys will rotate to the next date and the process continues.
Just like with traditional speed dating, at the end of the event you will be able to let us know who you were interested in. We will send you both mutual matches (you picked them and they picked you) as well as one way matches (they picked you but you did not pick them).
You are given 20 minutes from the end of the event to let us know who you are interested in and will receive the results the same night (usually within one hour) or the next morning. You will not have to wait 24 hours or more to get your results.

How many potential dates will be there?
The minimum number of potential dates will be 5 and the maximum will be about 15. If for any reason there were less than 5 members of the opposite sex in attendance, you would get credit for a future Virtual event.***

THIS IS NOT A DATING EVENT! If you are looking to expand your social circle, get some fresh air and make new friends/activity partners, then this Meetup is for you!HOW IT WORKS:
- Prior to the event, we will email you with some ice breaker questions that you can use, or you can make up your own.
