What we’re about
This is a a group for people who live and work In NY and the surrounding area, but who recognize we are in one of the greatest metropolitan areas in the world. It's for people who are creatures of the city, with all its diversity, possibilities, opportunities, and excitement. To be sure, we will make excursions into the city--and that includes Queens and Brooklyn as well as Manhattan...and let's not forget the Bronx and Staten Island as well. However, we will get together here on Long Island too, in the interest of promoting convenience and encouraging inclusion by people whose budgets may not allow them to take trips to the city as frequently as they'd like. The point of this group is as much to allow meeting, forming friendships, and having fellowship with others whose hearts belong in the city, as it is to take trips into the city for all that it offers.
Some of the event types we offer are :Museums, speed dating, bowling, pool, golf, bingo, shows, rock climbing, mingles and more.
This group is not for pick-up or seduction techniques, or wingman tactics.

It keeps the conversations flowing and allows you to meet a variety of people.
Once the event is over, you can let us know who caught your interest. We'll gather your preferences and provide you with the results the next day. You'll find out about both mutual matches (where the interest is mutual between you and your date) and one-way matches (where you're interested, but the feeling may not be mutual). It's a great way to see if there's a spark!

Come on out and check out this unique twist on speed dating. Join us for a unique social event for singles in NYC! Come on out and make new social connections, win raffle prizes and meet other fun singles.
Our friendly host will welcome everyone and then you'll be grouped off into separate tables where you'll get to meet, chat with and play fun social games with other singles in small groups of about 5-7 people. Then, similar to traditional speed dating, you'll rotate from table to table getting a chance to meet all the other singles in attendance. You'll be handed a "match sheet" and at the end of the event you'll be able to indicate people you'd like to talk to again in the future. At this event you will be going on a series of about 10 to 15 mini dates with each date lasting about 5 minutes each. Women stay seated and the men rotate from table to table until they meet each woman.
You will get a match card and at the end of each mini-date you'll indicate whether or not you'd like to see the person again. At the end of the evening you will hand your match card in to the event host. If you both select each other, we will send you each others' email address the next day so you can set up a future date! Within 48hrs, you'll receive an email with the first name and email of your mutual matches. We do not give out names or contact info unless there is a mutual match.
Our Speed Dating events tend to attract quality, single professionals who are done with the dating games and ready to meet that special someone. Most people know within a few minutes if they would like to see someone again.
We will have fun, ice breaker questions available to pull out of an envelope on the tables so there will never be a lull in conversation. The questions are also a great way to gauge chemistry with the other person.
