About the Speakers

Yoav brings strong background and industry recognition in the fields of digital media, content services, telecom value-added services and business support systems. Prior to joining JVP Yoav headed Altus Media Ltd., a venture capital consulting business, providing business, strategy and operational support for VCs and digital media and content related startups, including JVP portfolio companies. Previously, Yoav spent five years as General Manager/COO and CMO of Exent Technologies, an industry leader in the space of games on-demand, growing the business 70% Year-over-Year five years in a row. In this capacity Yoav was instrumental in building new offerings and revenue streams for industry leaders such as Verizon, Comcast, Intel, CBS, Time Warner and France Telecom.

Previously, Yoav held multiple executive positions at TeleKnowledge, an innovator in the space of business support systems. He was responsible for Product Management, Marketing and Business Development, helping define telecom value-added services and digital media strategies for the likes of Telefonica, Yahoo, Listen.com (Real Networks), Turbine Entertainment, FullAudio (AOL), StarMedia, TheStreet.com and others. Yoav further spent six years in the Israeli Air-Force, managing mission critical development projects, and is a decorated officer. Yoav is a board member of AnyClip, Apparent, AE-Squared, UIU, Correlor, Wishi and CrossReader. Yoav holds an International Executive MBA from Kellogg/Northwestern and Tel-Aviv University, as well as a M.Sc. in Computer Science (cum laude) and a B.Sc. in Mathematics (cum laude) from Tel-Aviv University.

Mr. David Solomon, CEO Solomon Capital

With over 20 years of experience, David Solomon, is one of the leading experts in the field of Corporate Finance. David, is the former Managing Partner of Cukierman & Co. Consulting Ltd, the founder and the CEO of B-PLAN, 4HIGHTECH [Investment Bank], and Micromedic Technologies [Listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange]. Mr. Solomon has worked with high profile clients in the global market such as IBM, Scitex, Bezeq, Bank Discount, Bank Hapoalim, Banl Leumi, Israel Airospace Industries [IAI], QUALCOMN, Dor Energy, RAPAK and others.

Mr. Solomon lectures in Courses in academic and other institutes. David is the author of various books including: "From Seed to IPO", "Business Planning in the Post Bubble Era", and "Biomedical - from Research to Market, The Business Challenge". He has successfully worked with dozens of emerging companies and is accredited with over a hundred winning business plans.

Mr. Yair Amit, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Skycure

Yair Amit, CTO and co-founder of Skycure, the research and development efforts of the company. The findings of his work were covered by The New York Times, Forbes, Washington Post, The Next Web and many other media outlets and presented in conferences around the world, including OWASP, RSA, INNOVATE and IMPACT. Before founding Skycure, Amit managed the Application Security & Research Group at IBM, which he joined as part of the Watchfire acquisition. In his role, he led the research and implementation of IBM’s application security next-generation technology. He graduated summa cum laude from Tel Aviv University with a bachelor’s degree in bio-informatics.
