Tracking Airplanes and Utilities

Abstract: Tracking Airplanes and Utilities will give an introduction to Radio Frequency and Software Defined Radio, as it relates to data collection in Splunk. We will show real world examples of RF collection, and what types of information are available just by listening to the breeze.

Bio: Kyle Smith is an integration developer with Aplura, LLC. He has been working with Splunk for seven years. He has written many public Splunk apps and is a current member of the SplunkTrust. He wrote the “Splunk Developer’s Guide” and is active on both #splunk on IRC, slack, and answers.splunk.com. Kyle won the Splunk .conf 2017 Developer Revolution Award, and he is a repeat presenter at Splunk .conf events.
