Beginning Tarot Class with Chevy week four

Details

Tarot week four is all about layouts. This is where youu begin your reading after familiarizing yourself with the cards. The layouts give form to the collection of random cards and allow us to divine the energies which are working for and against a person. This takes all of the work we have done already with the meanings of the cards and creats a story. In the beginning we went over the 22 cards of the Major Arcana in week one, then in week two we took in the four suits of the Minor Arcana which are based in the four elements; air or the mental plane represented by swords, fire or the spiritual plane represented by wands, water or the emotional plane represented by cups, earth or the physical plane represented by coins. Each card of the suite refers back to the Major Arcana of the same number. You will see the symbolic language tying the two together as we connect the suit cards to their parent card from the Major Arcana. These relationships play out through each of the suits. The suits themselves are also a journey from Ace, the beginning of a new cycle to 10, the completion of a cycle. Now we will look at the Royalty also called the Court cards. Usually represented by the Page, Knight, Queen, and King, these cards which correspond to the suites are read one of three ways. They can represent people in our lives, facets of our own character or merely the energy which has come into play in our lives. I use a clarification card to help me descern how to read this, the end result is the reading is enhanced by using a clarification card. Tarot is a rich source of wisdom and since I have been reading Tarot for 17 years, I can vouch that it is one of the most useful tools you can have at your fingertips. This is week three of a five week course. Each class will be $10.00 per person. This will give you a basic understanding of the cards and a basic layout for you to use. Reading Tarot is one of the most fun talents you can use because you don't have to read for others, but when you do, both you and the questioner will be amazed! Tarot is a journey and I'd love love to introduce you to it! Namaste.
