Nous sommes heureux de partager régulièrement avec la communauté apprentissages et points d'intérêts à travers votre meetup Sport Tech.

Davidson (Spécialiste de la consultation TI) et Decathlon Developers (Decathlon, for Developers) unissent leurs savoirs pour partager avec vous les notions d'architecture micro services dans un environnement JS. Cette édition du meetup Sport Tech sera donc dédiée à la démonstration du développement des fondations d'une API Node.js robuste et scalable.

Débutants ou intermédiaires, ce live code est fait pour vous. Nous y montrerons les bonnes pratiques en utilisant Node.js et Typescript.

Vous êtes encouragés à apporter votre ordinateur. Veuillez arriver avec un IDE, Node.js et vos commandes Github préférées ! Bières et pizzas vous accompagnerons.

As part of the Sport Tech events, we're happy to share regularly with you insights of what we learn along the way !

Driven by a micro services architectures in a JS environment, Davidson (IT specialist consultancy) and Decathlon Developers (Decathlon, for Developers) are eager to share with you and open debate on how to build a basic, robust and scalable Node.js API.

Intermediate or beginner are welcome to this live code workshop’s. It's purpose is to share good practices when setting up an API using Node.js with TypeScript.

Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops, follow along and ask questions should they have any. Since the duration of the presentation is short, no time will be spent on installing the required tools. It’s a good idea to have them installed before you get here. There will be food and beers.

Setting up dependencies (5 min)
Setting up project’s configurations, such as environment variables (5 min)
Building the project’s version fetching feature (10 min)
Building the application’s foundation (10 min)
Building the API version routes (5 min)
Building the API controllers (10 min)
Implementing authentication middleware (10 min)
Implementing unit test with Jest (5 min)
Implementing integration test with Jest and Supertest (5 min)

And if we have time:

Containerizing the application with Docker (5 min)
Implementing a CI/CD Pipeline with Github Actions (10 min)
