Does your spouse have dementia? Do you feel like you are losing your life, just as they are losing theirs? Perhaps we can join together and, if only for a short time, feel like we are once again the people we were before this happened to us.
There are lots of therapy-type support groups, so let's make this group something different. Let's join together as people who need to leave our burdens behind once in a while and just share a few laughs and some friendship with others who understand what we are experiencing. Let's get together over coffee, or for a meal or whatever else we can think of that is fun!
