How did you become a skeptic?

Way too late, I read Atlas Shrugged. It shattered my world view and showed me there were a lot of things I was wrong about. After a lot of mental growing-up in the next years, I now write at BornAgainSkeptic.net

Did you formerly believe some paranormal or pseudoscience claims?

Raised Catholic and and attended religious school through high school. Not fundamentalism, but it caused me to miss out on ever learning how to broadly apply logic and critical thinking.

Do you read Skeptical Inquirer, Skeptic, or a similar magazine?

Just the internets. Skeptical sites are the second most numerous in my RSS feeds after technology stuff.

Introduction

A skeptic in a sea of credulity, in need of a safe harbor.
