In addition to our meetings at Lincoln Library on the 1st Tuesday of each month, we've been discussing getting together regularly in a more casual setting (e.g. a quiet cafe, pub, restaurant, at someone's home, etc), either on a weekend or on a different weeknight. This would allow people who can't attend on Tuesday nights to join the discussion. In Britain, this is generally known as "Skeptics in the Pub", while in the US it is often called "Drinking Skeptically" (a play on the "Drinking Liberally" gatherings of liberals). We would probably gather together once each month, in addition to the normal 1st Tuesday meetings at the library. If these became extremely popular, we could get together multiple times per month. Interested? Rate these possibilities according to how well they would work for you, with 10 being very good and 1 being very bad. Once we have an idea of what days/times work best for people, we can figure out where to hold these gatherings. Thanks!
