Join us on Saturday March 23rd at the District Conference Center (St. John’s) for a morning of experimenting, learning and networking with other educators! This session will explore micro:bit as an instrument, as well as Scratch and other applications for creating music in the general classroom. Coding and music are complimentary and the curriculum connections can be fun for students and teachers. There will be coffee, pastries from Tulip Baroo Bakery, and lots of swag to give away. We will also have some micro:bits to draw at the event.
Please bring your own laptops with you and we will have some micro:bits to use. We look forward to celebrating all the wonderful coding teachers have done in the NLESD and CSFP over this last year.
*This session is inclusive to all teachers with no prior music knowledge necessary.
