NiFi - The Good Parts

During the session, John and Kevin will give an overview of NiFi and explain some of the fundamental Nifi concepts, demonstrate the various features NiFi provides, show some of the ways Label Insight is leveraging NiFi, and discuss challenges we faced when implementing Nifi, and how we overcame them.

After the session, attendees will obtain a high level understanding of the technology, be able to determine what is a good use case for using NiFi versus other technologies, and understand some of the common pitfalls to avoid when implementing it on a production project.

About the speakers:

John Huntley is a software engineer originally from South Carolina. He spend many of his lunch hours across the street at Sugar Fire to satisfy his love of bar b que. In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his dog and watching NASCAR races.

Kevin Huck is a backend software engineer/volleyball player at Label Insight,. He advocates to replace the Label Insight kegerator with barrels or wine, but has yet to be successful. Instead he settles for the cold brew and cheese.
