Move over Oozie and make way for Apache Airflow. Airflow is the latest and greatest data pipeline orchestration tool with a rich and extensible API. In this presentation Scott Shaw will discuss the mechanisms behind Apache Airflow and talk of the various use cases that best fit this open source tool.

About the speaker

Scott Shaw has over a decade of experience in data management. He is a frequent speaker at local and national community events and has co-authored two books on T-SQL. He teaches as well as implements Spark, Hive, Hadoop, as well as teaches courses on SQL Server, and Microsoft BI. He has published "Practical Hive" with Apress publishing. He lives in St. Louis and is a Sr. Solutions Engineer for Cloudera.
