Welcome to the St Louis Boardgame Meetup Group. We are a group that focuses on modern games like Carcassonne, Dominion, and whatever is currently hot at the moment on BGG. At your first few meetups be prepared to learn new games, and to rarely play the same game twice. Many games are unfamiliar to newcomers, but we are happy to teach if you're willing to learn. If you want to play something specific, just bring it with you, or request it in the Message Board. Otherwise join in and play what's available. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Upcoming events (4+)
Join us first Fridays at the Des Peres Dierbergs. We will be meeting in the area in the back of the store off to the side of the deli. This area is open until 10pm (when the store closes). PLEASE NOTE this is on the main level, NOT the mezzanine/loft area. Since this is a smaller space than the former Lotus Lookout, I have slightly lowered the RSVP list. Please update your RSVP if you cannot make it to give others a chance to play. Sorry about the last minute location change and thanks for your attention.

We have put face to face Meetups back on the schedule, but we are still holding our virtual Meetups. We meet on Zoom and play on www.boardgamearena.com. You can make a free account on BGA ahead of time. Download the Zoom app from www.zoom.us. RSVP to see the Zoom meeting link. Use the comment section below to suggest a game.
Gamers of all experience levels are welcome. Feel free to contact an organizer if you have a special need that we can accommodate.

We are meeting face to face again. Please join us at Pieces in Soulard. We will meet in the main room and we are welcome to bring our own games. Note that apparently, because we are a "group", an automatic gratuity is added to our food and drink orders.
