Regardless if you are new to meditation or a seasoned meditator this group is great for all levels. During this one hour class for the first 15 min you will be guided to focus your attention on your breath while using non-judgmental awareness of physical sensations, thoughts and feelings through sitting meditation. Then for the next 25 min you will be guided through a progressive body relaxation/body scan. The last 20 min will be devoted to other mindful practices and discussion. Each meditation session will leave you feeling renewed, centered, and at peace. This class will help reconnect you with your sense of wholeness and teach you how to experience greater balance in your life. This group is lead by Basia Toczek, M.A., NTP, CNHP, RYT who is a trained Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction facilitator and Certified Yoga Teacher.
