Do you have any experience in Night Photography?

I have some basic experience in general night photography, but none specifically related star trails or celestial events. I did attend the most recent lunar eclipse out at Crissy Field and captured some decent shots.

What two things would you like to learn about night photography?

1 - Composition of night subjects. 2 - Proper exposure for forground vs. sky or background.

How did you find out about us? (Optional)

Introduction

I'm relativley new to photography, but have really been enjoying night time photos during the past 5 months that I've had my camera. I'm mostly into shooting landscapes and cityscapes, but I'm also interested in macro and HDR.
