Anyone that was investing in real estate around 2008 probably learned this first hand. After years of appreciation and property values going up, the bubble burst and property values fell. The game shows changing markets and their impacts on the investing strategy that you are using.
Understand That Financial Freedom Can Mean Different Things
A lot of people think that being financially free means being rich. The game shows a different approach, which is financial freedom by having more passive income than expenses.
Experience That Income Does Not Always Make Financial Freedom Easier
Many times having more income means having more expenses. This game shows you how important the relationship between income and expenses is regarding the achievement of your financial goals.
Realize Your Risk Tolerance
It is very important to understand how much risk you are comfortable with. As you play the game, you will be able to understand your personal risk tolerance and that of the people you play with. You can learn from the experiences of the other players as well.

Join us in a open topic environment to informally discuss local events, real estate trends, and other relevant topics with both new and seasoned investors over a great lunch (order off the menu at your expense).
This is a fantastic venue to bring up your pain points and get input from other investors and vendors while networking with vendors who specialize in investment properties. And maybe bring a friend! We are always looking for additional contractors, vendors, and lenders to get to know - this isn't just a lunch for property investors!
There is no fee nor is registration required to attend this event, but we hope you will see the many benefits of membership and join our organization.
This is open to anyone interested in Real Estate Investing - regardless of whether or not they are REIA members, plus members from any other affiliated REIAs are welcome, too! The only cost to the meeting is whatever you buy to eat or drink from Walther's Twin Tavern, which has a large variety of lunch and salad options as well as standard bar food.
