John is the founder of Ohio Tech Angels (http://www.ohiotechangels.com) (a US based Angel Investment group) and he has previously chaired the Angel Capital Association (http://www.angelcapitalassociation.org) (the US version of the NZ Angel Association (http://www.angelassociation.co.nz)). He has over a decade of experience actively participating in angel investment, and is visiting Christchurch before delivering the keynote speech at the 2014 Angel Summit in Auckland (http://www.angelassociation.co.nz/calendar/annual-angel-summit-2014).

The meetup will cover how to present your venture to investors - what do you need to know as an entrepreneur, what are potential investors looking for, and more insights from an experienced overseas angel investor.

As usual there will be a chance to ask questions and get feedback on your ideas.

After the meetup we'll head nearby to meet and get to know each other over a drink - hope to meet you at the event.
