Ben Dellaca On Cerebral Fix And Making Fun

With this being the last meetup event for the year, we’re proud to have Ben Dellaca, CEO of Cerebral Fix, speaking to us about his entrepreneurial adventures.

Cerebral Fix is a game-making company that services the world. With early success of 4-5 million plays on their own game Saviour, they were able to pick up business overseas with the likes of EA and Transformers. Through some tricky times with the Christchurch Earthquakes, trips to reassure clients that they were still operating business-as-usual saw them pick up even more international work.

While building their reputation as a set of safe hands for big brands like Disney and Dreamworks, Cerebral Fix have also continued to create games of their own focusing on a Freemium model with in-game purchases.

Originally from the Buller region, Ben is passionate about growing the tech industry on the West Coast and along with his partner has set up EPIC Westport which opened in April. Offering co-working spaces and offices along with all the essentials, their mission is to take small-town business to the world.
