Brant Cooper helps organizations move the needle. His most recent book, The Lean Entrepreneur (http://leanentrepreneur.co/) recently landed on the NY Times bestseller's list. His previous book, The Entrepreneur's Guide to Customer Development (http://www.custdev.com/) was a self-published effort with a distribution of over 50K copies. Brant travels the globe speaking with entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs, debunking the Myth of the Visionary, and teaching Lean Startup and Customer Development principles. His objective is simple: let's empower individuals to make the change they want to see in the world. Brant is passionate about growing the San Diego tech community. He runs the San Diego Tech Founders monthly meetup that consistently draws 200 attendees. Brant is also the curator for the San Diego edition of the Startup Digest. Brant mentored at CONNECT for four years and holds open office hours at a weekly informal coffee meetup. Brant has over 20 years experience in IT and a long track record of bringing innovative products to market. As a leader in Professional Services, Product Management and Marketing, he has directed strategy, design, marketing and implementation of numerous products for a variety of startups including Tumbleweed, Timestamp, WildPackets, Incode and InfoBright. Eric has 15 years experience in marketing and business development working with high growth technology and life science companies. Currently he is the VP of Business Development at the law firm of Cooley Godward Kronish, LLP, where he manages the national business practice groups, and locally builds relationships between San Diego entrepreneurs and the firm’s capital provider clients. Previously, Eric lead the sales closure and implementation of a CRM suite at clients like Fiserv, Countrywide, AT&T, and British Telecom. Eric is an active board member of the CONNECT foundation, Taco del Mar, and a trustee at the San Diego French-American School. He has also been an active real estate developer successfully building ten San Diego beach homes. Eric holds B.A. in Environmental Design from UC Berkeley and an M.B.A. from The Anderson School at UCLA.
