Aileen Lee - Cowboy Ventures (Founder + Managing Partner)
Aileen is the founder of Cowboy Ventures, a seed-stage focused fund. They seek to back teams building technology that re-imagines work and personal life in large and growing markets. She was formerly a partner with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and the CEO of RMG Networks. A graduate of MIT, Aileen has an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
Justin Kan - Atrium (Co-founder + CEO)
Justin Kan is the co-founder and CEO of Atrium, a full-service corporate law firm that uses modern technology to provide startups a legal experience that is fast, transparent, and price-predictable. Having been a repeat founder and investor both personally and as a Partner at Y Combinator for many years, Justin coins himself an involuntary user of legal services.
Andrew Dudum - hims & hers (Founder + CEO)
Andrew is a Founder & CEO at Hims & Hers. He is also a Cofounder and General Partner at Atomic, a venture-builder in San Francisco backed by Peter Thiel, Marc Andreessen and many of the leading venture funds in the world. He is serial founder, active angel investor and advisor to over two dozen startups. Andrew graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Kirsten Green - Forerunner Ventures (Founding Partner)
Kirsten is the founder of Forerunner Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm. She combines an experience and thesis driven approach, with a consumer centric view, to identify visionary entrepreneurs and compelling brand platforms. Through her work at Forerunner, she has partnered with some of the most promising companies in the current evolution of commerce.
Austen Allred - Lambda School (Co-founder + CEO)
Austen is the co-founder and CEO of Lambda School, a new model of higher education where the school invests in the students rather than the other way around. Lambda School's mission is to find untapped or underutilized talent, and to train that talent for the most in-demand jobs in the world. Founded in 2017, the school provides world-class education and career services to over a 1,000 students.
Scott Farquhar - Atlassian (Co-Founder + Co-CEO)
Scott Farquhar is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Atlassian, a collaboration software company that helps teams organise, discuss and complete shared work.More than 130,000 large and small organisations, NFPs, and government agencies across the world, including companies like ANZ bank, Spotify, Twilio, Mercy Ships and Visa use Atlassian’s collaboration products to help their teams work together.
Jennifer Tejada - PagerDuty (CEO)
Jennifer Tejada is the CEO of PagerDuty, a leading real-time operations platform. She is a veteran software industry executive and business leader, and previously served as CEO of Keynote Systems and EVP and Chief Strategy Officer at Mincom. She has led the global expansion of PagerDuty, as well as the significant growth in its workforce and customers, including over half of the Fortune 100.
Eddy Lu - GOAT Group (Co-founder + CEO)
Eddy Lu is the co-founder and CEO of GOAT Group, the world’s largest marketplace for authentic sneakers. Eddy co-founded GOAT in 2015 to help solve the issue of counterfeit sneakers in the industry, and has since raised $200 million in venture capital, growing the business to over 12 million users and 600 employees.
Joshua Reeves - Gusto (Co-founder + CEO)
Mathilde Collin - Front (Co-founder + CEO)
Mathilde Collin is the co-founder and CEO of Front, which is reinventing email for teams. Front serves more than 5,000 companies and has raised $79 million in venture funding from investors such as Sequoia Capital, Threshold Ventures (fka DFJ), and Uncork Capital. Mathilde mentors aspiring entrepreneurs through All Raise’s Female Founders Office Hours and the Pioneer Fund.
Scott Belsky - Adobe (Chief Product Officer)
Scott Belsky is an executive, entrepreneur, author, investor, and now serves as Adobe’s Chief Product Officer. Scott's passion is to make the creative world more productive, connected, and adaptive to new technologies. He founded Behance, the leading online platform for the creative industry to showcase and discover creative work, and served as CEO until Adobe acquired Behance in 2012.
Sid Sijbrandij - GitLab (CEO)
Sid’s career path has been anything but traditional, which inspires GitLab’s belief that “everyone can contribute.” GitLab has grown from 9 to 800+ remote team members across 55+ countries, and raised $188.2 million in funding. With GitLab, Sid is evolving the status quo for developer operations and open source collaboration.
Angela Strange - Andreessen Horowitz (General Partner)
Angela Strange is a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz where she focuses on investments in financial services including insurance, real estate & increasing inclusivity. She is currently on the board of ADDI, Synapse and Tally, and is a board observer for the following Andreessen Horowitz portfolio companies: Branch, Earnin, HealthIQ, Mayvenn, PeerStreet, and Point.
Delane Parnell - PlayVS (Founder + CEO)
Delane Parnell is the founder and CEO of PlayVS, the venture-backed startup building the infrastructure for amateur esports. Prior to starting PlayVS, Delane worked at IncWell Capital, where he became the youngest black VC in the United States. Delane was then part of the early team at Rocket Fiber that that raised $31M and focused on retail strategy directly with the CEO.
Marco Zappacosta - Thumbtack (CEO)
Marco is the co-founder and CEO of Thumbtack, an online services marketplace enabling hundreds of thousands of local skilled professionals to build successful businesses by connecting them to millions of customers. Marco has been focused on building Thumbtack’s pro-community across the platform by inviting entrepreneurs of all backgrounds and skillsets to join and share their experiences.
Kobie Fuller - Upfront Ventures (Partner)
Kobie is a partner at Upfront Ventures, the largest and longest-running venture firm in Southern California and joined the firm in 2016. Kobie joined Upfront from Accel, where he was involved in investments including Campaign Monitor, UserTesting, AdRoll, and Invoca. Prior to Accel, Kobie was the Chief Marketing Officer at REVOLVE, one of the largest global fashion ecommerce players based in LA.
Yancey Strickler - Kickstarter (Co-founder + Author)
Yancey Strickler is a writer and the cofounder and former CEO of Kickstarter. He grew up in Clover Hollow, Virginia, and began his career as a music critic in New York City. His first book is called "This Could Be Our Future: A Manifesto for a More Generous World."
Henrik Werdelin - BARK (Co-founder)
Henrik is the co-founder of BARK (makers of BarkBox) as well as Founding Partner of Prehype, a venture development firm headquartered in New York. Werdelin creates programs to make large companies entrepreneurial, methods to help good people build ventures, and products that make people (and dogs) happy.
Stacey Bishop - Scale Venture Partners (Partner)
Stacey invests in business applications driving the Future of Work. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Aviso, Abstract, Demandbase, Extole, Lever, Namely, Narvar, Sailthru and Textio. Prior board positions include HubSpot, Bizible and Vitrue (Acq: Oracle). Stacey also originated investments in ExactTarget, acquired by Salesforce, and Omniture, acquired by Adobe.
David Siegel - Meetup (CEO)
David Siegel is the CEO of Meetup, the platform for finding and building local communities, owned by the We Company. He has over 20 years of experience as a technology and digital media executive leading organizations through innovative product development, rapid revenue growth and traffic acceleration.
Mada Seghete - Branch (Founder + Head of Strategy)
Mada leads strategy as a co-founder of Branch, the mobile growth platform for today's top companies, powering mobile linking and growth for over 50,000 apps and 2 billion monthly users around the world. Born and raised in Romania, Mada came to the US to study Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cornell University and then earned her Masters of Engineering and MBA from Stanford.
David Heath - Bombas (Co-founder)
David Heath is the co-Founder of BOMBAS. Prior to the launch in 2013, David dedicated two years to rigorous product testing and refinement to create the best performing and most stylish athletic-leisure socks available, while staying true to their mission of helping those in need.
Marlon Nichols - MaC Venture Capital (Founding Managing Partner)
Marlon Nichols is a founding managing partner at MaC Venture Capital (formerly Cross Culture Ventures), which find the entrepreneurs who are building the future for the rest of America. He’s a former Kauffman Fellow and Investment Director at Intel Capital and a current adjunct in entrepreneurship and venture capital at the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University.
Ian Siegel - ZipRecruiter (Co-founder + CEO)
Ian Siegel is CEO and co-founder of ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace that uses AI-driven matching technology to actively connect millions of businesses of all sizes and job seekers across all industries to their next great opportunity.
Dr. Laura Gallaher - Gallaher Edge, LLC (Founder + CEO)
Dr. Laura Gallaher is an Organizational Psychologist, Speaker, Facilitator, and Executive Coach. Her noteworthy career began after the Space Shuttle Columbia exploded upon re-entry in 2003, killing everybody aboard. Following the tragedy, NASA hired Laura and a team of organizational psychologists to change the cultural influences that were deemed to play a role in the accident.
Alex Garden - Zume (CEO + Chairman)
Alex Garden built Zume Inc. with a vision to fix our slow and broken food system. Starting with delivery pizza’s $44B per year industry, Alex founded Zume Pizza in 2015—a testing ground for his food logistics concept that redefined the preparation and delivery of food.
Megan Holston-Alexander - Unusual Ventures (Investor)
Megan has been instrumental in launching and running the Unusual Interns and Unusual Academy programs. In addition, she focuses on consumer investments for the firm. Prior to Unusual, Megan worked as the Program Director for All Stars Helping Kids where she managed an incubator program to give new nonprofits funding and support with board governance, fundraising, and programming.
Mike Volpi - Index Ventures (General Partner)
Mike joined Index in 2009 to help establish the firm's San Francisco office with Danny Rimer. Previously, Mike held a number of executive positions including Chief Strategy Officer and SVP/GM of the routing business at Cisco. During his 13-year tenure there, he and his team were responsible for the acquisition of over 70 companies, including several multi-billion deals.
Anish Acharya - Andreessen Horowitz (General Partner)
Anish Acharya is a General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz where he invests in financial services. Prior to joining a16z, Anish held multiple roles at Credit Karma including the General Manager of Core Product and General Manager of U.S. Card, which he helped scale to over 80MM members and $680MM in 2018 revenue.
Annie Scranton - Pace PR (Founder + President)
Annie has 8+ years experience as a TV producer at major networks including CNN, Fox News, CNBC, MSNBC & ABC, where she booked guest appearances for popular shows like Good Morning America. For the past decade, Annie has been leveraging this experience and expertise to grow her own agency, Pace PR, where she focuses on getting her clients regular TV and media coverage to build their brands.

Lindsay manages Events, Content & Partnerships at Startup Grind. She focuses on Startup Grind's Global and Europe Conferences, bringing thousands of founders and thought leaders together for networking, education and inspiration. She also heads up local events and content for the San Francisco and Silicon Valley Chapters. Lindsay holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA. She now lives in San Francisco.
Judy Chang, Marketing Manager (HQ)
Judy is the "Marketing Entrepreneur” at Startup Grind. Grew up in Taiwan, New Zealand and San Francisco, Judy is passionate in helping global entrepreneurs to change the world. Judy focuses on promoting Startup Grind’s Global Conference to thousands of founders, innovators, thought leaders and entrepreneurs. In addition, she runs the affiliate partnership and student program. (Drop her a note to learn more!) Previously, Judy worked at Palm, Inc. (acquired by HP), Medallia and Cheil Worldwide (Samsung). Judy holds a B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley and MAM/MBA from Yale School of Management and National University of Singapore.
