Why is Silicon Valley different? How have they consistently created multi-billion dollar market cap companies for over 40 years? It’s a staggering list that dwarfs any other startup ecosystem: Google, Apple, Facebook, Oracle, LinkedIn, eBay, Adobe, VMWare, Salesforce.com, EA, Twitter, Intel, AMD, Nvidia, HP, Netflix, just to name a few. Social, Games, Computers, Apps, SaaS, E-Commerce.
We will show Silicon Valleys secret sauce highlighting technologies, ecosystems and resources unique to the area.
We will compare Silicon Valley to Southern California and show the synergies and points of leverage between the two, in order to make the So Cal startup ecosystem stronger, and also analyze L.A. area startups and determine how they can gain from Silicon Valleys momentum.
The speakers for this talk, including myself, are all Silicon Valley veterans and will discuss their own experiences and current trends there.

And tip your waiters :)
