Who is Woman Led?

Woman Led is a local nonprofit creating a community of women leaders who are building profitable and sustainable businesses that will positively impact the economy. Together we will create a world where women have equitable access to opportunity, support and success.

Why a Woman Led Unconference

Women founders are innovators, leaders and disruptors. It is our fundamental belief that sustained peer-to-peer mentorship is a valuable asset for women want to launch and grow their business. In the last 10 years the number of women-owned businesses has grown at 5 times the rate of the national average yet female CEOs get only 3% of VC capital which can make it more difficult for women to successfully scale their companies. The Woman Led Unconference is a fun, inspiring and safe environment to share, learn, collaborate and create community. Together we will create a world where women have equitable access to opportunity, support and success.

What is an ‘Unconference?’

Think of this as an open conference that is driven by its participants. The agenda is made up by the people who show up. The sessions will be broken up into 30-minute discussions and spaces are reserved for gatherings that happen throughout the day. An unconference allows for flexibility, open discussion, and debate, all fueled by its attendees. Innovative conversations with some of the brightest women around. Come to build a collaborative network, establish partnerships, and be in a close community of people that value the same or similar topics of discussion. Who Should Come

Whether you’re a CEO, a startup founder, a stay-at-home mom with a exciting idea, or simply just have interest in the topic of women entrepreneurs, we welcome you to join us. This event is led by women and open to all people. What will our Unconference look like:
