StartupBlink & The Tiny Studio - Startup ideation workshop
Details
In a world of endless possibilities how do you come up with a startup idea with legs? In this workshop, we will be looking at startups as defined by Steve Blank - 'a temporary organisation used to search for a repeatable and scalable business model'. Going further, we will be looking at ways for you to map out the foundations of a great startup idea.
In this session, you will go through core concepts that apply to all successful startup ideas. You are probably looking to create something innovative that stands out in the commercial landscape, by unleashing the power of technology to deliver beneficial outcomes for consumers.
You will walk away with an actionable plan to validate your idea out in the real world and live market, to decide if this is that idea that you should build on.
This workshop is ideal for entrepreneurs or ambitious professionals who are exploring startup founding as a career path.
TAKEAWAYS
Participants will look at:
▪ How to break down a startup idea and set up a test to validate it (or rule out unnecessary elements)
▪ Defining the problem that sits at the foundation of your startup idea
▪ How to set up a startup idea validation plan (from assumptions to testing and go/ no go decision making)
Depending on how the above goes, we will tap into the below topics too, alternatively these will be pushed to our session in March:
▪ Interview tactics for the best research collection outcomes
