Welcome to Tokyo Startup Pitch Night hosted by Tokyo Startup Engineers. As always, we want to give an opportunity for startups and entrepreneurs to present their daily work and projects in front of an audience with a wide variety of background.

Who we are

We are a group of Entrepreneurs/Engineers who recently moved back to Tokyo after founding and working for Startups in Silicon Valley and the Midwest (USA). Our goal is to contribute to the movement of making Tokyo the startup hub of Asia by providing an opportunity for Entrepreneurs to showcase their work and ask for help to grow their product.

Our meetup events are held in English as an initiative to be globally understood. We encourage all level of english speakers to attend.

Who you are

We expect a wide range of audience with primary interest in Startups and in Engineering. If you are interested in meeting entrepreneurs, contribute to a startup, or want to listen to pitches made in the English language, come join us!

Startup Hub Tokyo was generous enough to provide part of their space for this meetup. Please be respectful of the environment so that we can keep using it for future events.

No3. William Metcalfe- Curvegrid Inc. (http://curvegrid.com)

William is a co-founder of Curvegrid, a blockchain tooling technology startup. Prior to Curvegrid, William was the Chief Technology Officer of Gilt Groupe Japan, having started in NYC as an early employee. He helped grow Gilt from its first order to become one of the most responsive and stylish ecommerce sites. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Computer Science.

No4. Patrick McKenzie- Stripe (https://stripe.com)

Patrick McKenzie (better known as patio11 on the Internets) has run four software businesses from Japan and currently works on Atlas at Stripe.Stripe is the best way to accept payments online and in mobile apps. We handle billions of dollars every year for forward-thinking businesses around the world.
