Azure cloud computing through the eyes of a power user

Hello everybody,

To start 2017 in style, we will be hosting three experienced speakers and discussing Azure, Microsoft's Cloud Computing solution.

Philippe Bechamp, Director of Online Operation, and Valerii Stanislavov, Solution Architect, both from iPerceptions, one of the most prolific Azure clients in Canada, will share their experiences; the good and the bad. They will take us through the evolution of their product on Microsoft Azure, where they are using more than 13 different services.

As a preamble to the meetup, Marc Gagné, Senior technical evangelist @ Microsoft will give us a presentation of Azure and the various benefits of using it. He'll also answer your questions and address any difficulties you may have with Microsoft technologies in general.

Valerii Stanislavov is a Solution Architect at iPerceptions with more than 10 years experience in software development and applications architecture on premises and Microsoft Azure including team management and establishing a process of automation testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery. Actively following the latest Microsoft technology stack and always try to apply new features to the development and process.

Philippe Bechamp is the Director of Online Operation of iPerceptions, a SaaS-based online Voice of Customer (VoC) analytics and Market Research for Fortune 500 brands. Philippe manages online operations, including infrastructure, performance management, security and systems administration.

Marc Gagné is a Senior Technical Evangelist at Microsoft Canada with more than 13 years experience in application architecture and development of large scale web based business and consumer solutions, including management of large and remote engineering teams. Marc is the natianal lead for startup and his role is an intersection between sharing his passion with the community and driving successful outcomes for Microsoft across their developer ecosystem.
