What we're about

Join us for Life drawing in Stevenage, run by illustrator Bob Wright. Sister Meetup group to St Albans life drawing, bringing you more life drawing dates held at Stevenage community arts centre. We'll be creating art and figure studies using nude artist models, I'll be on hand to bring you tutelage and a critical eye. I'm always working on my knowledge of the human form and its my aim to bring you some drawing insight as I continue my artistic journey. Please feel free to contact me directly if you need any further information.

Models: Please do not post Directly onto page, send me your details directly, I'm happy to take them. Fair warning: local models close to St Albans & Stevenage get priority, London travel will usually exclude you from my recurring roster, train and additional public transport results in expense and punctuality issues. So local based models and models able to travel by car within an acceptable petrol cost distance will get priority. Still I have used London based models on occasion in emergencies so no harm e-mailing me.

Stevenage Arts Centre

£18.00

Following from our second successful session last week I am happy to announce the next session in Stevenage on Sunday 24th of October. The session will now be starting at 15:00 as the hall has a regular booking that comes in before us and finishes around when we would normally start at 14:30. So we will be finishing a bit later at 18:00

This session we'll have a male model for us on the day. Drawing board and paper is supplied, please bring drawing supplies to make the best use of the session although there will be limited supplies available. I will not be providing refreshment so please make your own arrangements, hot water is available on the day.

We'll have our usual mix of quick poses to start with then moving on into longer and longer poses. With a break halfway through for the model, so we should have a good 2 hours and 40 minutes of drawing.

Re: Covid. The session will be restricte so everyone can have a bit of space. If you have to remove your mask when drawing thats fine, as those with glasses tend to struggle. If you show symptoms of Covid please do not attend, if in doubt take an LFT and I will arrange a refund or sort a credit out for a future date if you test positive. Thanks for understanding

Booking is made in advance via Paypal through Meetup. Our prices are slightly higher to cover increased costs and capacity limit.
