Join us for Life drawing in Stevenage, run by illustrator Bob Wright. Sister Meetup group to St Albans life drawing, bringing you more life drawing dates held at Stevenage community arts centre. We'll be creating art and figure studies using nude artist models, I'll be on hand to bring you tutelage and a critical eye. I'm always working on my knowledge of the human form and its my aim to bring you some drawing insight as I continue my artistic journey. Life Drawing, Stevenage Arts Centre, Sun March 10th. 14:30 - 17:30 Mod: tba

Once again another opportunity to join us at the fantastic Stevenage community art centre, a perfect little venue for sketching some figure studies. We'll start with our customary quick gesture drawing before moving on to some longer poses for you to really wrestle with the finer details of the human form. I'll be on hand with advice, to help you through any difficulties you might have and to work with the model to present the best array of poses for the group as possible. Its £15 paid in person on the day, provided for you is a drawing board, drawing clips, paper and basic drawing supplies. Please do bring your own art supplies with you if you have them to make best use of the time. Please note: To make use of the free car parking facilities you'll need to register your car registration in the automated system provided within the Hall, so please make a note of your car reg if you don't know it off by heart. However please try to arrive before 14:30 to get settled • What to bring Art supplies, but do not worry if you don't have the basics. Charcoal and pencils are provided on the day. Please bring along your own supplies to make the best use of the time. • Important to know I'll be on hand to offer tutelage and a critical eye, as well help you should you get into any difficulty with capturing a pose. Its my aim to give insight into different aspects of drawing methodology. Please bring payment for the beginning of the session so we can get that out of the way straight away, either cash or card (50p charge). As noted above in the main description, you'll need to log details of your car reg into the automated system inside the hall.
