About us
This is a meetup group for the creative people of Stockholm who are looking for companionship of other creatives. We aim for a simple sense of community to begin with, and if people are inspired, perhaps some collaboration can happen.
Meetups are held on a regular basis where we engage in conversations and discussions about a predetermined topic of interest.
People of all creative fields are welcome to join. Whether if you are into creative writing, filmmaking, painting, photography, performing, designing, or just have a general interest in creativity, we would love to meet you. It is a rich mix and makes for a lively meetup!
With a healthy dose of “fika”, we encourage and inspire each other to explore our creativity by fostering a vibrant space that is supportive and non judgmental.
Things to expect:
• A friendly group of supportive people to hang out with on a regular basis.
• A safe environment for new creatives and established ones.
• Fika!
Things that we avoid:
• Judgment calls. This is a friendly community where we can find support and camaraderie.
• Drama. Let's leave the drama in the fictional stories!

Sketching Session: Portrait Drawing Session
Kungsholmens bibliotek Internationella biblioteket - Stockholms stadsbibliotek, Sankt Eriksgatan 33, Stockholm, SEWe’ll set up tables for live sketching, where we encourage participants to take turns sitting as models for short poses. This is entirely voluntary, of course. If you prefer working from static images, you can use reference photos to focus on likeness and shading at your own pace.
This session is a relaxed, creative session, perfect to try out and share tips together with fellow artists. Our experienced hosts will help you out with tips throughout. All materials will be provided.
No drawing experience needed, just your imagination! Free to join!

- TIME: 11:00.
- VENUE: Kungsholmens Internationella biblioteket, on the second floor.
- WHAT TO BRING: Feel free to bring your own sketchbook/tablet.
- FOOD & DRINKS coffee/tea will be provided.
This event is hosted by the Sketching Club gang, Pierre, Nina, Dhruv, and Dana, and is in collaboration with the lovely people over at Stockholms Stadsbibliotek (Stockholm Public Library).
