FinTech is taking off in a big way globally right now and Stockholm is one of the leaders in Europe. RegTech, as a subsection of FinTech, holds a lot of potential to be the next big thing helping banks and insurance companies complying with the large number of financial regulations that have seen the light of day during the last decade. The financial sector is spending more time, resources and efforts to comply with these then ever while the solution to do it quicker, better and cheaper could already be out there.
The Stockholm RegTech Meetup group is intended to bring together RegTech companies in Stockholm and the Nordics that are providing solutions with banks, asset managers, insurance companies etc. that are faced with these regulations, such as KYC, AML, MiFID II, GDPR etc.
