He’s a frequent conference speaker on the topics of serverless, instrumentation, and software patterns as an AWS Serverless Hero. Prior to founding Stackery, Chase led engineering teams at New Relic, Canonical and IBM.

Austen is the CEO and Founder of Serverless Inc. (http://serverless.com), which makes zero-friction development tools for developers building applications on serverless cloud services. He created the Serverless Framework in 2015, which has since grown to become one of the most popular open-source projects in the world and helped kick off the serverless movement. He is also one of the creators of CloudEvents, a standard format for event data, and a regular speaker for serverless on behalf of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
