What we’re about
This is a group for those interested in playing friendly but competitive badminton doubles. We often go for a drink or a meal after a hard session.
We are a highly social group. Our members often have social events and enjoy experiencing different things.
Storm Badminton Club is an affiliated Badminton England Club.
We were previously known as Lambeth Badminton Club. <br>As of 2019/20 season we have 11 league teams playing in the Sutton Badminton League and 3 in the Hammersmith League.
In 2018/19 season we fielded 11 teams.

In 2017/2018 season we fielded 8 teams for players of Low Intermediate to Advanced ability. Our teams ranged from Division 1 Champions (Men's Fours), Division 1 Contenders (Ladies Fours), Division 2 Champions (Ladies Fours -2), Division 2 Champions(Mixed Team 1), Division 1 Contenders (Hybrid 1) and Division 1 Contenders (Men's Six -1). We are the current holders of the Moorman Cup which is a fun but keenly contested NBL rules team event.
This is very much a growing club. <br>We are always on the lookout for new players. As a club we are unique in that we will train players up to play league badminton.

This coming season, it is our intention to enter more teams in the Middlesex Badminton league. Home matches in this division will be played be played at our new venue, Fulham Boys School, Fulham Road SW6,

Failure to change your RSVP within 48 hours of Meetup - COST OF MEETUP
Penalties must be paid before attending future sessions.

As a Badminton meetup club, we are unique in actively welcoming players of all levels including absolute beginners. BEGINNERS, IMPROVERS and those returning after a long lay off are encouraged to attend our SUNDAY session where Coaching, tips and guided games are available from Badminton England Approved, Qualified, DBS cleared and Insured Coaches. <br>
Racquet hire £5.00 per session. All racquets are of high quality. <br>Racquets can be purchased if sufficient notice is given.
