Storm Yoga Community (SYC) is a not-for-profit founded on the principle that yoga is not for a small niche of people, but is an integral part of a broader movement to transform our society. To this end we provide donation-based yoga classes across New York City. Taught by top instructors, these classes are designed to promote health, fitness, detox, meditation, concentration, and peace of mind.
The tremendous sea of social and environmental degradation that surrounds us calls forth a new necessity for conscious human evolution. Yoga is not a tool to escape the world, it is a discipline designed to make us powerful within the world. Those who join us understand this and proudly take a stand as a peaceful warrior dedicated to the ceaseless improvement of themselves and the world around them.

89 Broadway, downtown ManhattanYou will have to go through security (metal detector and bag scan) before entering Trinity Church. The Chapel of All Saints is to the back of the main area, on the right side of the aisles. Follow the signs or ask one of the guards for "Catch Your Breath" if you can't find it. No previous meditation experience needed. All are welcome!

76 Trinity Place, downtown ManhattanYou will need to sign in at the security desk. Let them know you are here for the mat yoga class, show ID and they will print a visitors pass for you.
To get to the Rehearsal Studio: Take the elevators to the 4th Floor. Once you get off, take a left from the elevators and then a quick left at the end of the hall. It is the first room once you make the quick turn, across from the gym and before the art studio. There are restrooms at the end of the second hallway for changing, etc.
These are open-level, beginner-friendly yoga classes, suitable for all bodies and levels of yoga experience, taught by Chia-Ti.
Classes are FREE! All are welcome!
Please pre-register for each class via this link: https://mytrinity.trinitychurchnyc.org/OnlineReg/341. Only one registration date will be open at a time to prevent participants from registering for multiple dates, forgetting, and holding spots they don’t use. The new date will be updated each Friday morning.
