Yoga on the Beach in Coney Island!

Details
CONEY ISLAND BEACH YOGA by donation (suggested donation $10)
MONDAYS, weather permitting7:00-8:00 pm
Come join me as we practice yoga to the sound of the waves! We will practice on the beach in Coney Island off West 19th Street. This is an open-level yoga class, designed to accommodate beginners to more advanced practitioners. Please bring your own yoga mat!
Please plan on meeting at 6:45 pm at Lola Star Dazzle Parlour in the Stillwell Av subway station. (When you're exiting from the turnstiles, walk through the corridor lined with shops. Lola Star is the last shop on your left before you get to the street called Surf Av. The shop is across from the Dunkin Donuts. **We do NOT meet at the Lola Star Shop on the boardwalk.) At 6:50, we will walk together to the beach. If you are later than 6:50, come find us right on the beach by walking along the boardwalk to West 19th St. (When you get on the boardwalk, turn right towards the baseball stadium, in the opposite direction of the Aquarium. We will be somewhere on the sand across from the Abe Stark Sports Center.)
SUBWAYS: D, Q, F, N trains to Coney Island

About donation-based classes: Donation classes are an affordable option to practice yoga. They are not free classes. If you would like to take a free class, I teach a Thursday night free class in Manhattan. (For more information about those classes, look on the Storm Yoga calendar.) The suggested donation for this Coney Island class is $10. Of course, pay what you can. Your generosity is appreciated to help sustain community classes.
About Chia-Ti: I am a yoga teacher and Thai bodyworker. I have been teaching yoga for over 15 years. This is my 6th year teaching this donation-based yoga class in Coney Island. I love that we get to watch the sunset after class, and to teach on the beach in my borough! I teach yoga to adults, elders, and incarcerated teens. I believe yoga is a privilege that should be accessible and affordable to all who wish to practice. For more information about the services I offer, please visit my website: www.onelovewellness.com
