For November's StoryCode NYC Forum we are excited to present a behind the scenes look at a very interesting storytelling technology challenge with Adam Quinn.

Reply All (https://gimletmedia.com/show/reply-all/), a show about the internet, produced a call-in show in which the two hosts took non-stop calls to both of their cell phones, day and night for 48 hours. The show received over 100,000 calls in those 48 hours. With the heavy load bugs started to emerge that sent the show down a winding road that some believed to be a social experiment.

Programmer and technologist Adam Quinn talks about what it was like to build the system, and do damage control in real time as the show and the system spiraled out of control, making for some great radio in the end.
