EQUANIMITY.
A day of meditation and contemplation
with Frank Uyttebroeck
Saturday, September 6th 2014
9:30 am - 5:00 pm
One way or another, we all have to deal with the uncomfortable and painful facts of life:
emotional or physical pain, loss, illness, confrontations, injustice, violence, human
suffering, … . Directly or indirectly these things can disturb our inner peace, creating a
non-stop roller coaster of thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences, making it
difficult for our heart and mind to stay in true balance.
During this daylong of meditation and contemplation we will mindfully look into our
heart and mind. We will discover ways of truly and fearlessly opening up to all aspects
of life, fully experiencing all of our thoughts and emotions without being shaken to the
core. This can be a step towards enjoying life from a place of balance, a place of
equanimity.
Day format

  • This daylong is suitable for both the beginning and more experienced meditator. No prior experience
    with meditation is needed.
  • We will practice in silence for the duration of the day, following a schedule of teachings, guided sitting
