Panelist Bio:
Jeffrey Wang:
Principal Software Engineer Manager at Microsoft. He leads the development of DAX (Data Analysis eXpressions) programming language and query processor with a focus on in-memory database engine development. He is known as one of the inventors of the DAX language.
Melissa Coates:
The owner of Coates Data Strategies. Her current professional focus is on Power BI governance, deployment, security, and administration. Melissa is the creator of the comprehensive "Power BI Deployment and Governance" online course. Melissa is the principal author of Microsoft's "Power BI Adoption Roadmap" and co-author of the "Planning a Power BI Enterprise Deployment" whitepaper. She is a big supporter of the technical community and has been a Microsoft Data Platform MVP since 2013. When Melissa steps away from the keyboard, you can probably find her hanging out with her dog, paddle boarding, or playing in the garden.
Matthew Roche:
Principal Program Manager in Microsoft’s Cloud + AI Group, where he focuses on data culture, business intelligence, enterprise information management, metadata, and data warehousing.
Matthew is currently a member of the Power BI CAT team, where he was saddened to learn that there were not actually any cats. Previously Matthew has worked on Azure Data Catalog, SQL Server Integration Services, Master Data Services, and Data Quality Services. Before joining Microsoft, he worked as an architect, consultant, and trainer focusing on ETL, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
When he’s not enabling the world to get more value from its data, Matthew enjoys reading, baking, heavy metal, and competitive longsword combat.
Prathy Kamasani:

Prathy is a group manager at Avanade. Prathy focuses on Power BI, Power Platform, and Microsoft BI consultant with over ten years of experience delivering innovative and easy-to-use BI systems in a broad range of sectors. She combines a flair for design and user experience with the ability to use her strong technical skills to solve the most complex of problems. With a BSC and MSC in Computer Systems, her technical experience has evolved with the Microsoft BI platform with a current focus on Power BI and the complimentary PowerApps and Flow tools.
Prathy is a regular blogger at prathy.com, organizer of London Power BI User Group, speaker at events like SQLBits, Microsoft Business Applications Summit, SQL Saturdays, and Local User groups, and holds a coveted Microsoft Data Platform MVP award.
