07:30 - CICD and AWS CDK by William Torrealba

In Cloud Computing, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is the best practice to manage and provision your resources, and in Agile environments developers should be empowered to define those infrastructure resources and use it as part of your CICD pipelines enriching the DevOps practice.

To achieve this objectives, developers were required to know Cloudformation Syntax (YAML or JSON), or use third party tools. With AWS CDK they can now define cloud resources in a familiar programming language and provisioning it through AWS CloudFormation. Current supported languages are TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python, with C♯/.NET, and Java coming soon.

William Torrealba, is a Solutions Architect in NYC that helps customers with their Cloud Journey. He has background in Application Development, High Available Distributed Systems, Automation, and DevOps. Also he support the field in their need around Modern Application Development.
