Founded in 1969, Sunburst’s purpose is to create a fertile environment, within and without, to cultivate spiritual growth and nurture each seeker’s direct experience of the Divine. This is the journey of Self-Realization!
We facilitate spiritual education and support through workshops, retreats, meditation, our Sunday services, and devotional song circles, as well as classes and initiations in Kriya Yoga: the universal science of uniting the soul with the Infinite Spirit.
In accordance with our mission, Sunburst is also passionate about exploring and implementing the principles of sustainable Earth stewardship through permaculture and organic gardening.

## Explore and Create!
Ancient cultures revered Venus, tracking her movements to align themselves with nature, and to create calendars.
• Known as Earth’s sister planet and the planet of love, beauty, and harmony.
• Our brightest morning or evening “star,” unless hidden in the Sun’s light.
• Venus’s orbit draws a five-petaled pentagram in the sky—a symbol of Sacred Geometry and cosmic elegance.
• Create a mandala illustrating the Dance of Venus as seen from Earth.
Artist, Craig Hanson has studied Sacred Geometry for fifty years, leading annual Sunburst workshops designed to enlighten and delight. He is currently writing a book on his spiritual insights and experiences inspired by Sacred Geometry.
